brands & partner
Every detail counts. For enjoyable moments in the chalet.
Our own blend of tea using herbs from the mountains of the Grisons. Perfectly roasted coffee, crafted near Lucerne. Pralines with flavour combinations to suit our palate. Our partners feel the same way as we do – we love the finer things in life. And we won’t rest until we’ve turned these discoveries into an all-encompassing work of art. See for yourself: here’s our collection of top brands.
Staub
A Coq au Vin from the cocotte – not a dry rhyme, but a delectable dish. And, of course, the best cast-iron pans come from France. Staub cast iron tableware, which has been custom-made for 50 years, has been owned by Solingen-based Zwilling since 2008. This brand promises culinary delights – including at the BelArosa Chalet, too.
Nala Chocolatière
When it comes to sweet treats, only the best is good enough for Meike Bambach. Coming from a family of confectioners, she always sniffs out the best truffles. Quite literally: Nala Chocolatière combines aesthetics with mindfulness. A bouquet of fascinating flavours made from premium cacao beans awaits gourmets at the BelArosa Chalet.
Jordan Keramik
Back in 1989, Zurich-born Verena Jordan-Culatti brought the ceramic fairytale from Guarda to life. Her middle daughter Anna-Madlaina took over JORDANKERAMIK in 2020. Both share a passion for pottery. Every plate, every coaster, every cup is unique, from its shape to its glaze.
Fuschina da Guarda
Their fine creations are forged by hand and made of local iron: Fuschina da Guarda is the Romanesque name of the art and construction forge in the Lower Engadine mountain village of Guarda. Thomas Lampert and his team are passionate about any idea brought to them. This resourceful expert turned our chalet numbers into something very special – crafted by hand and with his unmistakable signature, of course. The garage, ski cellar, dog shower and bike storage also bear his moniker.
Libeco Linen Belgium
This linen from Flanders in Belgium is wonderfully soft and comfortable to the touch. Flax weaving mills were set up in Flanders back in 1858, and Kortrijk remains the centre of this craftsmanship for fibres of 100% Belgian origin to this day. Libeco is still loyal to this location, and is now run by the fifth generation of the Libeert family. Their napkins, placemats and tea towels are the stuff of holiday dreams.
Seifenmacher Arosa
Beat Urech has excellent taste, and as a chemist he knows all about fragrances, active ingredients and the art of mixtures. His alkaline soaps made in Arosa, all based on organic ingredients and with a pH value of 8.5 (like in the womb), pamper all skin types. At the BelArosa Chalet, we cut all these soaps off a single piece; you choose the fragrance yourself.
Parkhaus Berlin
Men and women are wearing felt again – something we’ve been doing for a long time. Our woollen felt comes from Parkhaus Berlin. It’s sustainably produced and serves as the fabric for bags, baskets and elegant glass coasters in the BelArosa Chalet.
Ichendorf Milano
Once upon a time… in a glassworks near Cologne, in Quadrath-Ichendorf, more than a century ago, people created glasses with filigree decoration using silicates of different colours. This skill has been preserved, with the Ichendorf Style Center located in Milan since the 1960s and home to designers who are constantly reinventing glass.
Aarke Carbonators
Prefer stainless steel and glass to plastic? Aarke is the be-all and end-all if you want to carbonate water in style. After all, the pure mineral water from Arosa’s mountains deserves only the very best when we turn it into sparkling water here.
Carrière Frères
There’s something in the air in our chalet. Arosa, itself a health resort known for its climate, demands the utmost subtlety from Carrière Frères’ artists when it comes to making candles for our chalet. History and knowledge pay off. The company’s journey started in Normandy in 1884, and it even won a prize at the World’s Fair in Paris in 1889. Today, their scent can be found in the mountains of the Grisons. Chapeau!
Aesop
Aesop’s toiletries have been a classic choice for 37 years now. The shampoos, shower gels and skin creams from the state of Victoria on the Fifth Continent are the stuff of fable – if you’ll pardon the pun. Australia meets Arosa. Soak up the scent of the big wide world in our chalet.
ELOA
This is atmosphere – in spherical form. ELOA’s designer lights, all unique pieces, literally float within the room. In our chalet, they serve as a centrepiece in the arrival area. These illuminated objects offer a fascinating interplay between colour and light.
Vieböck linen weaving mill
Weaving has been taking place in Helfenberg in the Upper Mühlviertel since 1832. It’s a real family affair, too. This traditional company from Upper Austria manufactures linen and cotton fabrics, sews them and packs them by hand – and has done so for generations. It’s all about meticulousness, pragmatism, time and a connection to nature and people. They make our bread bags and dishcloths: even turning the washing up into a truly pleasurable activity.
Henry Dean Belgium
Flowers aren’t the only things that bloom: every object from Henry Dean is a masterpiece of glass, made by hand and blown by mouth. Glass artists create the stunning decorative vases and showpieces individually. The company was founded in Antwerp in 1972.
Guaxs
Organic shapes, fluid variations, subtle colours: every glass object – from storm lights to vases – boasts a unique style. They blend elegantly into the room, without any extravagance, present and conspicuous at the right moment.
DOXX Amsterdam
We’re aflame with a desire for the finer things in life. That’s why we’ve opted for aprons and oven gloves from Doxx to use when looking after our fireplaces. Made from Dutch leather – locally dyed with natural colours – they’re practical and elegant at the same time.
Cloud7
Dogs will be in seventh heaven in Cloud7’s sleeping bag. Their blankets and bowls for our four-legged friends are also a feast for the eyes. This successful Berlin-based brand has been producing robust designs for people with travel-loving pooches since 2010.
Guarda Herbs
The scent of larch, mountain thyme and sage hangs in the air in the herb garden, located on a steep, sun-drenched terrace in the Lower Engadine. Experts enrich the bio-dynamically grown plants from the garden with gems collected from the wild, all the way to the foot of Piz Buin at 2,300 m above sea level. Every leaf, every blossom is picked by hand. They’ve crafted a ‘BelArosa tea’ especially for the chalet.
Rast Kaffee
Setting the bar for aficionados – freshly roasted coffee from Rast, a traditional coffee roastery in Lucerne.
Paradis des Innocents
Literally tailor-made – our uniforms are made from the finest linen by Stefania Samadelli from ‘Paradis des Innocents’ in Zurich.
Paper & Tea
With us, every cup of tea is a true event, thanks to selected blends lovingly curated by the experts at Berlin-based Paper & Tea.
